Unlike other technologies, our process uses continuous carbon fiber to produce the strongest parts possible. By combining the full strength of carbon fiber with the geometric optimization attainable with our multi-axis printing capability, we can make parts far lighter than the best existing alternatives.
FIBERS WHERE THEY ARE NEEDED

Carbon fiber's amazing properties only work when the fibers are aligned in the direction a part is taking load in. By using a custom designed 5-axis machine we can use this property to produce parts that are individually optimized. By running carbon fiber only along load paths, we can create lighter, stiffer parts, minimize waste, and even introduce novel material properties for parts with specialized applications.

SIZE AND PRECISION

With an 17 inch diameter and 15 inch height*, our build volume can accommodate a majority of the parts that are currently difficult to make with composites. Our machine is capable of maintaining a dimensional accuracy of +/- .1mm (.004in), and features can be post-machined to even better tolerances.
 *The maximum size of fully 5-axis reinforced parts is smaller by 2-3 inches in each dimension
